for the Winter 2007-2008 Free ski bus for the hole Haute-Maurienne |
(On border of the National Parc of the Vanoise / Haute-Maurienne / Savoy / France)
Standing at 5.700 ft high
on a site which was a lake, Bessans is quiet and provides
in summer or winter the opportunity to enjoy free time in
the nature. At Bessans, a land of tradition and legend with a rich cultural
heritage, stand a Chalet offering Savoy hospitality:
Welcome to the Mont Iseran Hôtel.
Here, you have facilities to make the most of the Alpine lifestyle : guest
rooms, with balcony and terrace, bathrooms, toilet, direct dial phone,
TV, car garage (on request) ...
From the winter 2003 the
hôtel provides new facilities like :
a new ski room (with a table to wax skis, and a ski
boots dryer)
a new relax room (well lighted excellent for reading,
playing cards ...)
and a new balnéo room (with a SPA, and a Sauna)
In the restaurant, you may find a large choice of classics main dishes of
french coocking, menus for everyone, a well furnished wine list and Savoy
Specialitys the all prepared with fresh products.
In the afternoon, at our bar, you can find waffles, crêpes and home made ice-cream.
We have also flats and studios to rent (4 people
max).
In winter at Bessans
: alpin ski, nordic ski, (excellent snow from december to the end
of april).
In summer at Bessans : tennis, lakes to swim, cycling
(col de l'Iseran 2764 m, ...), hiking (GR 5, Parc nationnal
de la Vanoise, ...),
mountaineering ( le Charbonnel 3752 m, l'Albaron 3637 m, ...).
Needs to be seen : Baroque cultural heritage, church Saint Jean Baptiste, the Devil of Bessans...
